Vintage Knows Best

As I mentioned in my One Piece post earlier this week, I am back in my hometown for the holiday weekend to celebrate one of my best friend's wedding.  It has been so wonderful being home with my family and all of my closest friends that I grew up with.  My mom and I had a great day yesterday getting our hair cut, nails done and having lunch with my grandma.  We also had to squeeze a little bit of shopping in when I realized that I forgot to pack an evening clutch for the wedding (I was so concerned about my shoe options that I completely overlooked this detail).  We made a quick stop at a local consignment shop, The Sassy Peacock, to check out their vintage clutch selection and my mom stumbled upon the below gem:

Since the bridesmaid dresses are mostly black with a pink accent, this clutch will accent the color in the dress perfectly.  For the incredibly reasonable price of $12.99, I think it was a blessing I left all my clutches back in New York.  Between my family, my boyfriend's grandma and a few more consignment store purchases, I have several vintage finds to share with you in future posts.

Have a wonderful 4th of July Weekend!
